Downtown Wichita is seeking submissions for artwork that will repurpose alley and back-of-building doors and turn them into a discovery-driven urban gallery. Kansas artists are invited to contribute to an online artwork database where downtown property and business owners can select artwork to be printed on heavy-duty vinyl and applied to their alley or back-of-building doors.

A goal of this project is to increase foot-traffic and visibility of overlooked space in downtown and thus enhance safety, combat graffiti and create surprises for passersby. The door murals will be accompanied by an artist title card and alleyway signage. The creation of new artwork is not necessary. Please submit with new or existing work. Artists may submit up to six pieces. 

Call for Entry is open to:

• Artists based in Kansas
• 2D works including graphic and digital arts
• 3D works including any work that can be photographed
