Meet Engy

Engy is collaborating with Mark and Grace, owners of Wichita Cheesecake Company for the Front Porch project.

Engy AlGarf is primarily a figurative artist who likes to tell a story. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Engy was introduced to art classes at the early age of 6 and practiced under the supervision of acclaimed artists in a small tucked away studio in Kuwait City. She acquired a BFA from the American University in Cairo before completing the graduate program in fine arts in Florence, Italy in 2014.

Prior to moving to Wichita in 2019, Engy and her family lived in Portland, Manhattan, and Seattle. They love being on the move and traveling as often as possible. Before they return to Egypt, they’d like to see all 50 states. Engy is currently represented by Reuben Saunders Gallery in Wichita.
