Pitch-A-Friend at O'Larney's Pub & Rooftop Bar

Pitch-A-Friend is back — and we’re heating things up at a new venue!

It’s cuffing season, and what better way to find your holiday match than at one of Wichita’s hottest singles events — Pitch-A-Friend!

Hype up your single friends, come to mingle, or just grab a drink and laugh your way through the hilarious pitches. Either way, you’re in for a night you won’t forget.

Merry & Bright at the Historic Union Station

Merry & Bright is a free, family-friendly event open to the public. This year’s event will once again feature the lighting of the Union Station building, photos with Santa, carriage rides, hot cocoa and cookies, a kids’ activity station, special performances, and more!

Everyone is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or new coats and/or shoes to donate to the Wichita Children’s Home.

42 Annual Wreath Festival at the Wichita-Sedgwick Co. Historical Museum

The Wreath Festival will feature custom wreaths, holiday gifts of all kinds, delicious baked goods, festive music, and special holiday-themed exhibits.

Museum doors open an hour early each day, for this special event (at 10:00 am Thurs & Friday; at 12:00 pm Saturday).

A hot, sit-down lunch featuring chicken casserole, salad, croissant, and dessert will be available. The cost is $16.

"Americans" a Smithosonian Traveling Exhibit at the Mid-American All-Indiean Museum

Curated by Paul Chaat Smith (Comanche) and Cécile R. Ganteaume, the exhibit uncovers the many ways American Indian images, names, and stories have been part of the nation’s identity since before the country began. Americans uses historical photographs and objects representative of those in the Smithsonian's collection to tell their stories.

Visitors to “Americans” at the Indian Museum have the opportunity to experience a unique local exhibition and programming.
