Downtown is for Everyone: Supporting Events That Build Community

Downtown Wichita supports the people, places and ideas that bring energy to the city center.

Whether you work downtown, live nearby or enjoy spending time in the area, downtown is everyone’s neighborhood!

So far this year, Downtown Wichita has lent financial support to several new community-focused events that bring people together and make downtown feel alive. A few recent highlights include:

The Workroom’s 12th Anniversary Artisan Market

  • April 12 | Naftzger Park
  • This open-air market celebrated creativity and local makers. It featured art, crafts and good vibes. Events like this turn public spaces into community spaces and remind people of the talented individuals who call Wichita home. See more
