Event Description: Kirsten Shannon, a local abstract painter,  is creating a new, temporary gallery space, or a pop-up gallery, at the Ice House; a large industrial space just East of Union Station in Downtown Wichita. Boasting old pillars and a cement floor, Kirsten's hip pop-up gallery opens October 7 with her show, titled "BE." Viewers will be encouraged to set aside distractions to get into her new work; colorful, large-scale abstract pieces and take a moment to breathe.
