Downtown Clean Up
Save the Date: Saturday, April 6

Join Downtown Wichita, The City of Wichita Public Works & Utilities Department and Parks & Recreation Department in keeping downtown clean and beautiful on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers courtesy of Westar Energy.

Registration
Registration is now closed.

Event Schedule
9 - 9:30 a.m.
Please check-in at the Downtown Wichita office (505 E. Douglas) to sign your liability waiver. A waiver is required to participate in this event. A staff member will go over your task with you. Donuts and water will be available.

9:30 - 11:45 a.m.
Volunteers work on projects. Supplies will be provided by the City of Wichita.

11:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Volunteers collect and return supplies (shovels, rakes, vests, etc. received from the City) to crew leaders, then head to the Pop-Up Park (identified on printed map you will receive during check-in) for lunch. If your crew leader is not present prior to your departure from your volunteer activity, please bring supplies to the Pop-Up Park.

Inclement Weather
In the case of inclement weather, volunteers will receive notification of cancellation via email no later than 8 a.m. the morning of the event, Saturday, April 6. If inclement weather does not permit us to have lunch outdoors at the Pop-Up Park, lunch will be moved to the Downtown Wichita office at 505 E. Douglas (where check-in was).

Waiver
All volunteers must sign a waiver prior to the event. You can sign your waiver during check-in the morning of the event.

Attire
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. If you wish to bring gloves, please do so.

Children 18 years or younger
Children are more than welcome to attend this event. Children under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.
