Downtown Clean Up - Trash Pick Up

Help keep downtown clean and beautiful by participating in the Downtown Trash Pick Up on Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Registration
If you would like to volunteer, please register by filling out the form below. You can also register via email or via phone at 316.264.6005. Registration is required in order to participate.

Event Schedule
9 - 9:30 a.m.
Please check-in at the Downtown Wichita office (501 E. Douglas Avenue at the northeast corner of Douglas Avenue and Emporia Street) to pick up supplies, receive an assigned area and sign a waiver. You can also sign the waiver by registering using the online form listed below. A waiver is required to participate in this event. Donuts and water will be provided.

9:30 - 11:45 a.m.
Volunteers pick-up trash.

11:45 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Volunteers leave full trash bags at designated street corners. Volunteers will receive a printed map with designated trash drop-off locations during check-in.

Inclement Weather
In the case of inclement weather, volunteers will receive notification of cancellation via email no later than 8 a.m. the morning of the event, Saturday, July 24.

Waiver
All volunteers must sign a waiver prior to the event. You can sign your waiver during check-in on the morning of the event or by registering using the online form below. 

Attire
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. If you wish to bring gloves, please do so.

Children 18 Years of Age or Younger
Children are more than welcome to attend this event. Children under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the event.
