Promoting Development To promote development progress and investments coming to life in the urban core through the vision set forth in Project Downtown, staff tracks development progress in the district. As the Downtown team works with developers and public officials to assist with the project’s due diligence, major milestones and progress are communicated through marketing and communication efforts. An interactive online map and printable map of Downtown’s development projects are regularly updated and maintained for use by developers and the public. The Downtown Wichita staff publishes an online monthly listing on downtownwichita.org of for sale and lease properties available to assist developers and businesses when looking for real estate opportunities.
