Driven by a dedicated vision built upon community input, Project Downtown: The Master Plan for Wichita is driving the transformations of today into the thriving landmarks of tomorrow. In 2017, the adaptive reuse of the existing Broadway Autopark garage into 44 market rate units, proved that a visionary approach to development could push the envelope of possibilities for future development. Strategic investments by the public sector in streetscape improvements, parking, and additional transportation options are enhancing connectivity and providing fundamental resources to spur further development and growth in the urban core.
