The Starpower Talent Competition is coming to Century II April 1-2. Come to watch children and young adults ages 5 and up dance and compete in multiple competitions in the Century II Concert Hall. In the new storm chaser vehicle, discover how weather instruments work – measure speed, humidity, storm direction and more. In the new aquifer, determine your personal water use and learn ideas for steps to conserve this precious resource.

Historic Wichita River City Trolley Tours

Take a tour downtown in one of Wichita's unique 1925-style trolleys. The River City Trolley company provides tours during the months of April through July on Fridays and Saturdays from 10-11:30 a.m. The hour and a half narrated tour winds along the Arkansas River and throughout the Delano area into Downtown Wichita. Learn more about the history of the area and discover something you never knew about Wichita!

Tours begin on the west side of the WaterWalk. Tours include groups of 20 or more and reservations are required. Maximum capacity is 28 passengers.

Join the Kansas Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists as they present Gridiron 2017. This annual production is one of Wichita's oldest and most hilarious stage shows, which stars local media professionals singing, dancing, and spoofing the past year's news and newsmakers. Gridiron is a fundraiser for the Kansas Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists to raise money for journalism scholarships for Kansas college students.
